we organize the 3rd European-American Business Mixer! Find out what we can do for your business, hear our members’ success stories, and have fun networking.

Speakers

The speakers will discuss strategic partnerships as means of success for businesses located in Europe and in the United States, with a focus on global logistics. They will also share their experiences as entrepreneurs doing business in the United States and in Europe.


Dr. Stephan F Hollmann, PhD            

President, Pacific Aerospace Resources and Technologies, LLC.

Dr. Stephan F Hollmann is an Aerospace Executive and Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Southern California. His internationally acclaimed and recognized professional work in the areas of specialized mission aircraft is sought after throughout the world. His wealth of experience includes all aspects of aircraft lifecycle, management and business development, including Mergers and Acquisitions, entrepreneurial finance and governmental consulting.  

Dr. Hollmann produced novel developments in design and integration of complex adaptive processes that earned him global recognition. He currently manages the Special Purpose Aircraft Division of Pacific Aerospace, located in Victorville and San Diego, CA. He is an Associate Fellow with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), a senior member of the Federal German Parliamentary Group for Aerospace, and advisor to government in New Zealand.  Dr. Hollmann holds an engineering degree from University Bremen/Germany and a doctorate from California Southern University.

Dr. Stephan F Hollmann will speak about the challenges for European medium size companies in the US market.


Tom Dlugolecki

Mission Center Executive, Raytheon Company

Tom Dlugolecki is a Business and Defense IT Professional who has achieved a high level of success in both the commercial and defense world.  He has successfully transformed businesses while in positions varying from AMP/Tyco New Product Development Manager to Global Technology Director to General Manager Communications Div. at ITT. As President and Founder of Alorus LLC, his company designed and developed the world’s first industrial wireless, hand held, totally integrated computer-camera-cell phone.

Currently, Mr. Dlugolecki is the Mission Center Executive of the Raytheon 600 person design, development, and manufacturing center in San Diego. He is transferring Anscheutz German Ship Navigation Bridge Technology to San Diego to address a military and commercial ship design requirement. Mr. Dlugolecki is also leading the effort to build a global network centric logistics architecture and environment for defense and commercial use. 

Tom Dlugolecki will add the American point of view when working with European Companies.

Danish Soccer Tournament

Danes of both gender, Danish and Danish-related companies, Clubs and Organizations in Southern California are invited to participate in our FIVE-A-SIDE SOCCER TOURNAMENT Saturday October 23th 2010 at: The Danish Church and Cultural Center, 16881 Bastanchury Rd.Yorba Linda, CA 92886

Your company/club/organi-zation can participate with as many teams as your company/club/organization can muster. If you want to join as an individual, we urge you to register with the church and cultural center, and you will be placed on a mixed team. You have to be at least 14 years old to play in the soccer tournament. You do not have to be Danish to participate. (Soccer shoes with molded cleats will be accepted)

Schedule: Breakfast (Kaffe, the, rundstykker) and Registration at the Danish Church 08:45 a.m. Games start at Rose Drive Elementary School (5 minutes away) 10:15 a.m. ? Refreshments and Lunch at the Danish Church and Cultural Center 02:00 p .m.

Registration fee/Donation: $ 125 per team Breakfast and lunch: (Danish luncheon) under 14 yrs ½ price $ 25 per person Sponsor fee: If you wish to sponsor only, and not attend with a team: $ 125 per sponsor Since this is our 10th year, all previous teams and players are invited to play, or otherwise participate, by signing up for the lunch $ 25- per person—welcome back. Register now or no later than October 19, 2010 and please indicate how many teams you want to register, the names, phone-numbers and e-mail-addresses on players. Make check payable to The Danish Lutheran Church. Each team must be with at least 5 players and not more than 8 players.

EON Reality, Inc. is the world’s leading interactive 3D Virtual Meeting and Simulation-Based Learning Software provider for business and education based on Virtual Reality technology. At this Swedish owned company you will be able to venture into different ‘cave’ environments, and experience 3D-technology first-hand.

We meet at 3 PM at EON in Irvine where you will be served appetizers and listen to the owner and leaders of Eon Reality. You will then have a chance to try out the different 3D-technologies, while networking at the same time.

If you are interested in car pooling please let us know when RSVP and we will arrange that. This will be a fun and exciting experience were you will mingle with members and non-members in the amazing world of 3D. Price: $25.
